Weekly Reflection
Week 7 ( 13/2/23 - 17/2/23)
During this week I completed the final chapter of the unit ' Enlightening soul' and started teaching grammar portions. I gave them an acquaintance of previous year question papers. They got an idea about the pattern of questions . I felt that to a certain extent their fear of exam has decreased. I taught them poetic devices in relation to the poem ' A prayer in spring'. I gave them an acquaintance to the textbook activities. Most of the students were able to do the textbook activities correctly.
The classes went well. I was able to teach with confidence. I was able to maintain the discipline.

Weekly Reflection
Week 6 ( 6/2/23 - 10/2/23)
During the fourth I continued the story 'The Trio'. As it was a lengthy lesson I took two weeks to teach the lesson. I showed the students a video of the series ' Swami and Friends' in connection to the chapter. I conducted a debate in my class on the topic 'mobile phone: A bane Or a Boon'. The pupils participated with enthusiasm. The classes were according to the lesson plans. The classes went well. I was able to take the classes with confidence.
As the days went on, I felt that my ways of teaching is improving. I am learning new things everyday from the experience I am getting here.

Weekly Reflection
Week 5 (30/1/23- 3/2/23)
During the fifth week I was taking the lesson ' The Trio by R. K Narayan. I was well prepared with activity cards, charts, slides and flash cards. I collected the notebooks of students for correction. I discussed some previous year question papers given by the English Teacher of the school. The students responded actively. In the fifth week we , the trainees of Fathima Memorial college conducted an awareness programme on the topic ' Gender Bias'. The students of nine and eight standard was given the class.
The classes went well. I was able to maintain discipline. I was able to seek the attention of students.
